Which team is the better team? the 06-07 team played a better regular season, but I think this year's team is playing a better tournament so far. What does everyone else think?

Craft and Conley would be one hell of a matchup, but as great and quick as Craft is I think Conley would get the best of him. Sullinger vs. Oden would depend on how the officials called the game but I think 06-07 wins by around 6.

How about 10-11 OSU vs 11-12 OSU?

How would the 1999 team stack up? Ken Johnson versus Jared Sullinger would be a great match-up when Sully had the ball. Johnson was a beast of a defender and shot blocker. The kid had springs. But Johnson wasn't much of a factor offensively that year. And Scoonie Penn versus Aaron Craft would be an entertaining duel between two feisty competitors. Penn was a scorer supreme and Craft is obviously one of the better defenders in the country.

Michael Redd would toy with Willie Buford, though, and I think that's why I'd give the edge to the 1999 edition.

Take the 10-11 team. Still think they were the best team last year in college basketball. Had all the pieces. As we know, the best team doesn't always win it all.

As for this thread, I'd take the 06-07 team. Oden being the difference. Defensive dominance. And we saw what he could do when he was healthy in the championship game.

I was thinking about this the other day. I think 10-11 OSU wins with Diebler hitting at least 5 3s. Thomas and Smiths vast improvement isn't enough to compensate for Lightys defense and Dieblers offensive game, as well as Lauderdale inside on defense. 68-64 last years Buckeyes.

Hopefully that remains true and Kentucky loses to the Buckeyes this year in the finals.
