Its easy to blame Sullinger. But the guy was being double teamed on every catch. When the other guys are stepping up and hitting shots, as they were in the first half, that doesn't work so well. The second half, others were not. Thomas on bench in foul trouble. U can't expect Sullinger to put up 20 against double/triple teaming. If others hit shots, it opens up things for him to go one on one. That didn't happen in second half. Thus, those double teams worked. Its a team game. Everyone can make others look good.

My apologies. I admit I should have just debated it as an adult. As you can see I'm not taking this loss too way. But I understand where you are coming from. It may be best for me to comment after cooling down a bit. I hope you are right about Williams, Ross, and Craft getting it done.

This is the truth and sums it up. Kansas defense was good, but there were plenty of open shots that were missed...especially in the second half. Also, Kansas dominated the boards tonight. Not gonna win when those 2 things happen.

His timeout play before the half led Craft to driving into two bigs and Craft doesn't finish well or dish much. I do forget but the 3rd timeout used was an instant turnover/quick shot (forget) for and easy bucket the other way.

I didn't like having Thomas on the bench late in the game 3:30-1:45.....gotta have all offensive options the final 4 minutes. He can play defense without fouling way better than Ravenal can be an offensive anything...and Ravi didn't do much positive on defense.

It is easier when instead of passing out of the double teams he got his shit swatted constantly. Also, not a fan of him chucking up 3s...

OSU led 59-56 with 2:22 to go. Their only points after that were Buford's putback dunk and Craft's first free throw.

No execution down the stretch.

DeShaun Thomas played like absolute shit on both ends of the floor. The people who say he's not that bad on defense - well, you're just wrong. That's all there is to say about that.

Posting up Sullinger against Withey = a fucking stupid gameplan. The guy is 7 feet tall and completely immobile. You aren't shooting over him from 4 feet away. He has no chance of guarding you 15+ feet from the hoop. And if he tries that opens up the paint for other people. So why camp out on the block? Just complete idiocy.

Once again, this team failed to run anything slightly resembling an offense when another team started to make a run. They didn't have any mental toughness for most of the season, and it showed again tonight. It was 1 pass and a garbage shot off of the dribble as soon as KU started making a run in the 2nd half. And that's on Matta.

Also, Thomas Robinson threw a punch/elbow into Ravenel's dick and should have been T'd up and/or ejected.

I feel for William Buford the most. There's no coming back for him. that was it. And he really tried this game. Wasn't much more he could do. Thanks Will for the memories.

He took a couple bad shots, no question. They weren't in crucial times. If I recall, he got 6pts in the last few minutes. I know he didnt' play well. But again, the guy is getting doubled on every touch. Meaning someone else is open, and needs to make a play. When that happens, OSU is good and it opens thingsup for Sullinger. NO ONE but Buford did anything in second half. Its easy to double and make it effective. Lenzelle was non existant, Craft couldn't finish at basket, and Thomas was on the bench. The TEAM lost this game. Not one player.

Sullinger won't be worth two shits in the NBA, not athletic nor quick enough. Frankly, he didn't play well at all tonight, and if you believe he did, you need to take off your rose-colored glasses.
