You know who you are. Everyone else-- carry on, OSU looked poised to win it at and they certainly have the talent to do so.

Irrelevant but I see them underneath your name and no mention of "Ohio State" or "Buckeyes" anywhere :)

1. OSU beat Syracuse.
2. ND beat Syracuse the 1st game Melo was out and didn't have time to adjust. Syracuse has had all tournament to adjust to playing without Melo.

It pretty much evened out. Sully didn't get to play 3/4 of the first half.

So a mid-season game = an Elite 8 game (winner goes to Final Four)? Makes sense to me.

Sorry, but this thread is dumb.

I'm a nd fan but is the thread really necessary? I don't care what people think about nd's wins. Half of the people on this board hate nd so I really don't care what they have to say about my team.

Agreed, stupid and pointless thread.

Although it is funny that there is so much hate for a team that was picked somewhere around 13th in the conference preseason polls. Add in the qualifiers as to why ND's win over syracuse was bad and osu's was great and it brings the lulz for sure.

Notre Dame over achieved greatly ths year. They weren't a threat to make a run in the tourney at any point. OSU finally lived up to preseason expectations and has made a great run.

So much hate for ND basketball? I'll give you football. No one cares about ND basketball. I agree, this ND team did overachieve, no question about that.
OSU "finally" lived up to expectations? The won the regular season title in the toughest conference in the country. I can only speak for myself, but I said early on this team would lose 4-6 games this season. Expectations went thru the roof early with big wins. As I have said, the reality with this team is they were not as good as they looked early, not near as bad as they looked vs MSU in home loss. Thats usually the case in a long season.
Again, ND deserves credit for a fine season no one expected. I am not a Brey fan at all, but he deserves credit for this teams success.

Did you read this thread or any response to a post about ND basketball this year? 98% of the people that comment can't name one player on the roster and hadn't watched a game but every one knows they suck. It is what it is and I wouldn't expect anything different on here, but you can't say there isn't blind hate for all things ND.

And a lot of it stems from athlete and his threads about taking them seriously, which I also understand.

I meant osu lived up to preseason expectations. They were top 5ish weren't they? They had a bad stretch where a good number of fans thought they were destined for an early exit, but they have really been playing well the last few weeks. That's all I meant.
