Just saw this score on the web from this past Saturday. The Dogs took down the Leopards to improve to 2-0. Louisville must have a solid team this year to hold the Dogs to 76 points or Poland might have had a poor night shooting. Judging by this score and a relatively close game, I would imagine that Louisville should have a solid year ahead of them. The Bulldogs play Struthers next.

It appears the Leopard cagers may be benefitting from an early exit in the football playoffs. When was the last time the basketball team had this much practice with all members present?

Poland should be the real deal this year. Once again they are very deep and have the personnel to run all night long. They have solid shooting on the perimeter and have two solid forwards under the boards that stand at 6'4" and 6'6" respectively. The addition of Darius Patton this year really gives them a consistent 15-20 point scorer every night. Fatimus has looked the best so far this season, scoring 18 and 24 in Poland's wins respectively, but he relies heavily on the 3 ball to get his points. Patton provides a nice threat getting to the rim and Donlow and Baker are usually hanging around to clean up what's left. Not to mention Poland has the crazy man, Luke Wollet, who plays basketball just like he plays football. I think this team is probably one of Poland's best in recent years and I wouldn't be surprised to see them make a run at regionals and possibly states.
