Good luck with that.

Sullinger's first was simply reclaiming the space straight up from his feet that the defender had taken by leaning in, so if his chest gets hit by the shoulder reclaiming rightful space, it should not be a foul!

No sense in talking about the officiating now, game is over. Buckeyes won, that's all that matters.

You mean Ohio State fans were biased towards Ohio State on the foul situation? No way!

I'm sold on Kentucky and it's players. But there is a part of me that kinda wants to root for them to continue winning. How sweet would payback be. Especially for all the marbles.

Agreed. That being said, I didn't bring it up.

No way I'd have believed we won with Buford going 3-12

Sullinger to the NBA pretty much done? Just said when asked about Amir that he has talent just has been stuck behind him and Rav but watch out for him next year.

On the defensive end yeah. Kid still has a ways to go on the offensive end. He needs some help on the basic fundamentals on posting up, and rebounding. He really needs help on free throws and passing too. Still, an awesome raw talent.

He stepped in and controlled the paint. 2 blocks, 4 boards, and 3 points in 9 minutes. He boxed out and positioned himself well on boards. That woulda been 8 blocks, 16 boards, and 12 points in 36 minutes :D

Seriously though, he also made a nice pass for an assist to Thomas in the middle of the zone defense.

Offensively, he's raw. Uses his athleticism mostly, but he'll improve. FT's have good form, just needs to hit them.

Sully going pro might be his best bet. Can't afford to have his draft stock to drop.

Sully finally played like a man in a big game. I was happy to see that, especially at this stage of the season.

He will have a full offseason to get better. Try thinking back to garbage time last year when smith jr got in. TERRIBLE, he turned it over almost automatically. Now look at him!! He will improve!

Just a slight edge to the Buckeyes in receiving bad calls. Too many ticky tacks. The second foul on Sully was as bogus as it gets....and sent him to the pine for 13 minutes. IMO....that equalized the bad officiating...slightly in OSU favor.

The real deal in why the Bucks won.....total domination on the glass. The refs don't rebound the basketball.

Yeah true. He played really well for the most part. Other spots, he looked a little young, didn't post up right, took the wrong angle going up, didn;t get good position, etc. Still, not killing the kid at all. He shown a lot to me tonight. Just saying, he needs some work during the offseason.

As I said back on page 1 or 2 when S&L asked how Buckeye fans could like this match up, I responded with rebounding.

Buckeyes were +15 on the glass.

Jim Boeheim's great zone defense allowed 48 points in the 2nd half. ALLOWED Ohio State to control the pace of the game.

At the post game presser Sully for the first time this year let something slip, that this well be his last year at Ohio State, even though it's been a given. When asked about how well Williams played in the 1st half, Sullinger pointed out that after Christmas how hard Williams has practiced and improved. He then said everyone betterr look out for Amir next year. No one would have to look out for Williams if he played behind Sullinger and Ravenal again next year.
