I do like Modest Mouse, but IMO they are not the GOAT. Very good though. Here is another band, Tame Impala, you should check out. I just recently found out about them, you may know about them already but I like their sound.

Not bad ddub.

This band is from northern kentucky, and have a more pyschodelic modest sound to them. Their album is one of the best of the year in my opinion.

Modest Mouse is awesome. Lonesome Crowded West and This Is a Long Drive For Someone With Nothing To Think About are probably my favorite albums of theirs but I love them all.

That almost put me to sleep (like most of the audience). Flashing lights on and off doesn't make you a good band. They sounded like a poor man's version of Smashing Pumpkins.

You aren't a real big fan of quality songwriting are you? (Seriously, go read the lyrics to Bukowski or Trailer Trash. The writing is fantastic. I just like the riffs in the song I posted)

And Modest Mouse really isn't at all like the Smashing Pumpkins. Unless you think a guitar makes someone like the Smashing Pumpkins.

I just commented on the link - that was terrible. The Smashing Pumpkins comment was with respect to the flashing lights which Corgan and the group would do when they hit a killer riff, except they would actually be, you know, good. Big difference between Cherub Rock and a bored audience. The audience looked bored. So was I when I watched it. Educate me on the lyrics, I couldn't even make it out. Chances are its better than that link.

I just read the lyrics to Bukowski, that was so bad it nearly gave me cancer.

Yeah, no where close to the quality of an emo band with a screeching, whiny vocalist like the Smashing Pumpkins.

You're the absolute worst.
