Game tips at 7:10

I figure with all the Bobcat students and alumni on this board that this game deserves its own thread. Ohio is a 2 point underdog after starting off as a 4 point dog. The easy bet on this game is the under if your into betting. Ohio has won straight must win games and has been playing some of their best basketball of the season. This game will be a game of who can make the other team play their tempo. Ohio likes to play in up tempo game with good defense while SF likes to play slow grind it out games with also great defense. Ohio will go as far as DJ Cooper can take them.

Ill take the under and Ohio to win by 6.

The problem with the Bobcats is they basically have one weapon...Cooper. Take him out of the equation and the ride will be over.

Hope not obviously but that's the bottom-line.

Look for Ohio to make it to the swet 16. USF just isnt that good IMO.

I also took them to the Sweet 16.

Cooper is certainly the catalsyt but I thought they got a real good team effort against Michigan. Never really came down to Cooper having to gun and carry the burden.

Yeah Kellogg, Baltic, Ohio State transfer Offutt...all played well. Michigan was not hitting shots though.

OU is top 10 in the country I believe defending the three, that's why I took them against Michigan. This game will be close, USF plays slow and struggles to score, they aren't going to blow anyone out unless OU plays awful and can't make shots.

FYI: One ref is an SEC/Big East ref, ugh.

(Other 2 are Big 12/Valley, and Pac 12)

This worries me, because in that Syracuse/Asheville game, the guy who blew the inbounds call was a Big East/ACC ref.

I actually see USF winning by 5. They somehow grind it out and have done it consistently against better teams than OU. Like someone said, OU only really has Cooper who is consistent. 54-49 USF.

South Florida is kind of like Pitt (most years)

good defense, toughness, they'll play you hard

but it's difficult to win many games in a row like that in the NCAA tournament because you run into teams with different styles and more firepower

It will be completely exposed against UNC. I just don't think OU is that team with an unusual style or overwhelming firepower.

OU CAN have that firepower. Their problem is inconsistency, lucky they have been on fire the past 5 or so games.

Me neither, but maybe slightly more if Cooper is draining a bunch of shots.

I'll say Ohio wins a close one, in the 50s.

Game is a bit more open than I expected. Good start for OU.

It was, but yeah, they are looking bad on offense the last 6 possessions. Pace back to what USF wants. On pace for a game in the 50's.

Ohio has had to work offensively against this defense but they have had open shots

With how they've shot so far, 1 possession game isn't bad at all.

USF 1 for 8 from 3s

with their length they should be working it down low a bit more

Good Game so far could still go either way and the under is looking good.

That ref may have missed that call but is actually one of the best refs in the tourney who would you rather have valentine and hightower

this is definitely a USF grinder type of game

but again, Ohio only shooting 28 percent

one hot stretch of 3s may turn the tide around
