Should we do anything with him? I decided to read through his stupid ass thread and he is a complete racist and calling out upper a couple of time because of him being a black muslim. Seems like half the huddle wants him gone....

I agree he did get carried away..and I too noticed his calling out of upper..which I thought was completely uncalled for as well. I don't know why he did that..he could have just been trying to get his opinion knowing he is a black muslim...although I doubt that was his purpose..but who knows.

I am am going to wait to see everyones opinion. I usually skip over his posts, because his opinions don't interest me, but it appears that he was known for this type of shit over on the other huddle also.

Ok..I didn't see Upper's thread until now. Lol..and it's obvious upper took offense to it..which he has every right to. But even upper said it's cool if he doesn't get the banhammer. I'd say give him a warning about it and if he does again..then do it.

Eh, tough call. He was a real dick on that thread. I don't like banning people over stuff, as that starts to get too JJ-ish. Perhaps we should put up a poll asking people how much they want the rules enforced, and whether they want people banned for being jerks, or whether they want to keep things pretty loose.

It's a tough call for me, too.
If he's being honest about the stuff he does as far as charity and Christmas stuff (which he's posted twice or so on various threads), he has a good, philanthropic side.....but he also has a bigoted side that he displays on a regular basis. Usually not to the degree he did on that particular thread, but he displays it often.
But the thing is, if we ban him for this shit, that opens the door to ban a number of people for a lot of shit. NCF, CCrunner, etc. for being moron trolls; Sleeper because of his over-the-top style of posting regardless of if the topic is sports or religion; etc.
I would say that we should watch what he posts and if it has that sort of offensive commentary, those posts should be deleted and if he has a problem with it, he can fuck himself.

IMO..that post was worst than any I've seen from NCF, CC, sleeper on anyone else on here as of yet. I think if you just let it go..it's going to open the door to more people to do the same thing.."belly got away with it..so..so can I"..I agree I don't think we want to get like JJ..but banning one person b/c of something like that..whether it be permaban or just a temp ban..would be highly justified. I don't think anyone..except belly..would think we were being like JJ's. Sure..you could just delete his posts..but you know how he is..why should a mod have to babysit him all the time to make sure he isn't posting something racist again? If you can't use common sense when posting..you don't need to be here anyways.

Justin, I think you have to at least give him a small vacation. He more than crossed the line in that thread! And, as mentioned above, if nothing is done, it opens the door to other assholes to see how far THEY can push the line. From what I read, a vast majority of posters were promoting "punishment" and I think it is more than justified in this case.
