The father has a lot of contradictory quotes in that article.
From "assault if it's on the street" to "no comment" to "nothing happened".

Its hard to tell what really happened. The NCAA will spend a bunch of time and money investigating and Nothing will happen bc Leavitt is the only coach the Bulls have ever known... sad but true.

I don't know what I would do if I were to send one of my kids off to college to play football and this were to happen. I bet i wouldn't say it is just a "non issues".
