A friend posted a picture on my facebook wall the other day from college and holy shit, I was a fat son of a bitch. I almost forgot how fat I got in college. Anyone else balloon up in college (or at any point in your life)? If so, did you lost the weight?

I graduated HS around 210. Shot up to I think 275-280 at my heaviest in college. Weighing in at 185 now.

I am the heaviest I have ever been. I took a cushy job and I am paying the price. I went apeshit crazy this weekend, because I have a very strict diet and workout plan in place starting on Monday. My final real meal was a $85 meal from Xo Steakhouse in Cleveland....fml

Don't be too strict, you could end up resenting it and falling off the wagon. The chuck wagon. No, wait. You'd be getting on the chuck wagon.

I tore my PCL and meniscus senior year in college. At my heaviest then I got up to 227. I'm back to around the 180lb range. Pizza Hut Lunch Buffet, Bdubs, and beers with no exercise for 4 months got me.

Yeah, same here....although, my drinking has slowed down considerably. My problem is that I always had a very physical job up until a year ago...so now I am paying the price.

I was usually around 160-170 in HS...

I'm up to 195 now.

I'd like to drop down to 180-85 but I'm not fapping enough

I can top that. At 5'7 I weighed 252lb. Got down to 149lb in about a year. Have stayed right around there since.

Lost over 30 a few years ago...the big thing is scaling down food portion size, as well as cutting back on fast food.

I graduated HS around 190. I was fine my freshman year of college because I was playing sports. It wasnt until I transferred down to OSU that it went downhill. I got all the way up to 220, now back to 190

I saw the fat picture. You actually weren't that fat.

As far as the eating, for others, cut out the processed shit and beware of stuff that says "low fat." Fat isn't bad, it's fuel but you have to eat the RIGHT ones.

It's the carbs that kick you in the nuts. Best carb sources are vegetables, sweet potatoes and occasional fruits. Grains (breads, cereals, etc) have something in them that triggers you to eat more and more. There's no "off button."

For those who remember the old Lay's Potato Chip commercial "no one can eat just one." It's true because there is shit in there that triggers craving and you want more & more. For me, it's milk chocolate. If I eat ONE "fun size" Butterfinger, I'm fucked. Might as well back up a Brink's truck full of them because it's like a shark tasting blood....a feeding frenzy.

I've come to this realization that for me, processed carbs are evil. If I stick with high (healthy) fat meats, olive oils, eggs, fish, coconut milk & flesh, macadamia nuts, vegetables & fruits, I'm fine. If I eat something processed it's a downward spiral.

In HS I weighed about 207 for football, and then when wrestling came around i cut to 171 in 4 weeks. Good times.

My senior year I was a light 189 (about 184). When I got to college I started off fine. I think I am unlucky with a slow metabolism, because I have friends who eat like shit every day all day, and don't gain a pound. If I ate like them I would be 250 easily. I exercised during all my college years, and even watched what I ate (i.e. no fast food), but apparently that wasn't enough as I shot up around 205. I decided to change up my diet one summer, to 6 small meals a day. I got down to 174.

I do the same diet now, maybe not as psycho strict as I was, since I started my foundation, but I still stick to it and I normally fluctuate from 175-179, which is fine by me.

I float around 155ish.
