with a name like basesloaded you would think a dooshbag would have more respect for the Chief major league umpire of all time.
Current major league crew chief Jerry Layne was like a second son to Wendelstedt and a big brother to Hunter. Layne first came to the school as a shy 18-year-old from Ohio. Wendelstedt's eye for umpiring talent landed on Layne, who in October completed his 23rd year in the majors by being crew chief for the World Series.
Jerry grew up in Prospect, in Marion County.

gerb, Hunter is his son.
"You knew what you were getting with Harry," says Billingham, whose best years came with Cincinnati's "Big Red Machine" in the early-to-mid-1970s. "I never had a beef with him. The bad ones are the ones you remember, but I don't ever remember a bad game with Harry."
Jack lives in New Smyrna Beach. I saw him pitch for the Reds once when I was a kid.

I saw Jack pitch a 2-1 complete game win in Riverfront in about 1:57. Good pitcher to compliment the big red machine order - get em out quick(defense stays sharp as it didn't take Jack long to get them to put the ball in play) to get back to bat and rake.Speedofsand;1113536 wrote:gerb, Hunter is his son.
