UC has been picked by Addias to be one of three to showcase their new uniform product. I don't know how I feel about them by checking out the pictures in the link. That being said, maybe they will look different under the lights.

Will the actual players have numbers on the front of their jerseys?

No. They'll wear bonnets, with numbers on the bonnets.

The black shorts are real bad and definitely look like these pants. That being said, as long as the players and potential recruits like them I guess I can live with them.

I still prefer UC's old Nike uniform's (Kenyon Martin/Steve Logan era) best.

yeah those Nike's were awesome, I had a pair of the black ones with the C/paw print on the back of them. The red ones that I think they debuted on Valentine's Day when Logan was there were my favorite.

I think those are awful. Go back to the Steve Logan days. Those were sick.

EDIT: Guess others agree about the old unis.

Those were Nike Uni's. UC is currently under contract with Adidas. Fortunately, the contract is up this year and the athletic department is out shopping the market.

"The uniforms feature a new print using a pixilated pattern instead of a traditional, heavier, solid pattern to shed weight and add speed."

Shedding weight and adding speed because of the print pattern. What an effin' joke.

Haha these new uniforms are awful. Didn't somebody tell the designer that people snicker at those who wear Zumba pants or whatever those things are called

Thought this was funny:

"It uses an unlined short to eliminate unnecessary weight and provide a more comfortable, closer fit with compression base layers."

Unlined, but compression based, yet still eliminates unnecessary weight. I don't understand this at all. Is Adidas saying there is no lining, so the players must wear compression shorts? If so, fine, but I don't see how that solves any weight issue. Or are they insinuating that players currently wear compression shorts with a lining? If so, that's just plain weird.

There uniform's will never be a sweet as when they were Jordan's, but the gray ones they wore against Georgetown were sharp.
