DeyDurkie5;1104637 wrote:So you have been watching them the whole year correct? They were dominating in the beginning of the year, and all of the sudden in the 2nd half of the season they have played down to their opponent. That's the whole point we are making. We went from being a championship contender, to a sweet sixteen exit and that is why us fans are pissed. The fire is gone from this team when it comes to that explosive offense and shut down defense. We aren't freaking out, we are just being realist. Not surprised that a bandwagon lebron fan can't see that LOL
Have you heard of scouting? Being familiar with sets and tendencies? This is what playing in Big10 conference games reveals. Out of conference is completely different. We have been found out for what we are by the upper echelon teams in the Big10. No doubt if you played the game you understand that teams get for conference games, it's a grind. This isn't the same as Duke preparing a few days to play against us, teams game plan all year on how to attack and defend us, huge difference.

Agreed

So syracuse's foes didn't scout? Kentucky's foes didn't scout? Seriously?

I know a lot of people don't like to hear the shoulda, coulda, woulda, but man imagine if we grabbed Trey Burke with his scoring ability. Oh well.......

Yep, he could have started at the 2 with Craft at the one, interchangeable. Would have got Lenzelle off the floor and allowed him to bring that energy off the bench.

Listen, I get what you are saying and what you are trying to argue. But in my opinion, I don't buy it. This team went from playing their game(fast offense, making the right pass, and tenacious defense) to playing down to their opponents. I don't buy that it's the teams scouting reports, I think it's the leadership of this team. Watch Sullinger after every missed shot, he bitches and moans like a little girl. This team is better than their second half season has showed, and it's disheartening to us fans who watched them through the first half

Sully is frustrated because it's a bitch for him to even catch the ball this year, let alone score or get a good look one on one. No reason for him to shut it down but if it's frustrating to watch for us fans, imagine how he feels as a player.

I'm still confident we can win this game. Maybe the aggressiveness Mich St came out with will back fire on them and woke up the Bucks.
