Not true. There isn't much of a difference between a 2 or a 3. OSU is a long shot for a 1. 2 and 3 are the same. Just want to stay away from Kentuckys region.

They'd have multiple trophies there

This was a really good win no matter how you dice it. Good minutes from Rav and Thompson with Sully on the bench with foul trouble, Thompson fed Rav well a couple times. First half was turrible, and thought pretty hard about cleaning the attic or cat box or something. Willy B trying to make us all forget disappearing in big games, he's got his head out of the dog house but hasn't come all the way out.

Great win. Go Bucks!

I'm still not sold on Kentucky. Not saying they aren't good because they are a fantastic team. But put them in the Big Ten and see how many loses they come away with. I do worry about their inside presence being a problem. Other than that, I think we counter them athlete wise very well.

Someone said it earlier on twitter...

Going undefeated in any big conference is special. It doesn't matter the conference.

Minus the Pac 12 of course.

FWIW, Kentucky would be JUST FINE in the B1G.

I'm sure they would. Not knocking that accomplishment at all. I just believe if they and Ohio State would switch conferences, OSU is probably unbeaten and Kentucky would have several loses. We saw how OSU handled Florida earlier in the year. Winning at Mich St, Wisconsin, Value City Arena, and Indiana (where Kentucky lost) isn't a easy task for any team.

OSU would in no way, shape or form be unbeaten in the SEC.

Eh, Ohio State played avg, the second half hard to make that assumption for me. I would guess that Kentucky most likely wouldn't be undefeated in conference play in the B1G.

I will say this though that kinda sucks for the B1G, is that currently, I've seen mocks that don't have a B1G getting a #1, most agree that it's the toughest conference this season but their reward is a #2, I don't disagree with the seeding, just kinda sucks is all.

And I highly doubt Kentucky is undefeated in the Big Ten lol. That's the main point I'm trying to make. It's not their players fault they play in the conference they do. I just don't think they are unanimously the best team in the country where they arguably had a easier route than some of the other top teams with similar talent..

The only team with similar talent to UK is UNC.

Agreed. The only real difference between the two is that Calipari is able to motivate his team to play consistently great defense. I think North Carolina definitely could do that with the length and athletes the Tar Heels have, but, as others here have already discussed, there are perplexing stretches where the Heels don't always compete defensively and thus play down to the level of their competition. This has been a big problem for my Blue Devils this year as well. Fluidity on the offensive end starts with defense and the ability to get stops and force turnovers. Without that constant focus on the other side of the ball, one bad night from the field could spell disaster.

Kentucky understands this and that is why the Wildcats have rarely struggled this season. Even on a below par shooting night the Wildcats are still able to put up the points due to their asphyxiating defense.

That sucks for Dawson, the replay was strange in that I really didn't see much in the way of knee movement. Too bad, they'll miss him in the dance.

MSU is gonna struggle mightily without Dawson imo. Guy could go inside out, and was a nice 2nd option next to Draymond. Very versitile kid.

And yet the Spartans still reached the national semis. While losing Dawson is certainly not favorable, Izzo is really amazing this time of year. He could coach a team of rottweilers to the Final Four.

Edit: Robj55, I'm purely kidding.

Today was #OhioState's first win over an AP top-5 ranked team on the road since 1/21/91, a 93-85 win over 4. Indiana. #Buckeyes were 3.
Found this interesting

I think this may be a year they go out earlier than expected. I can see them in a 2/7 game against Memphis or someone who can really give them fits.

"It was silent the whole time (Buford's shot) was in the air," said Michigan guard Trey Burke, who is from Columbus, Ohio. "Once it went in, everybody just flooded the hallway, jumping up and down."
