CANAL WINCHESTER, Ohio - A former middle and high school coach is accused of posting a threat on Facebook after being fired, 10TV News reported on Wednesday.

The man, who coached at Harvest Preparatory School, located at 4595 Gender Rd. in Canal Winchester, was fired on Friday, Feb. 24.

A police report filed Feb. 27 showed that the school’s athletic director called Columbus police regarding the alleged threat.

The report said that the threat posted on Facebook said, “Be ready. I’m coming for you all one at a time.”

10TV News did not name the man because he had not been charged.

School officials said that when the alleged threat was brought to their attention, the school followed its procedures and contacted police.

Officials said that they were not sure if the alleged threat was directed at a particular person or at the school.

The issue was still being investigated.

If it is forwarded on to the city prosecutor’s office, the case would be handled by the city prosecutor’s office stalking unit, 10TV News reported.
