Any chance he was injured or still stunned from flying into the hoop base support just prior to attempting those free throws?

Well that is a huge difference from the "I can't wait for sully to be gone".

My point is that whenever I read a game thread, whether football or basketball, you overreact throughout a game. Now maybe it appears worse when you write it, but it just seems that you have an overall lack of perspective.

You apparently have a lot more faith that DT can average 35 ppg next season than I do.

I'm still not ready to panic. How many teams went into the NCAA tournament with 1 or 2 loses, only not to make it to the Final Four? How many teams had 5, 6 or 7 loses, and won it all? The Big Ten is tough this year. Outsides Illinois, we lost to teams who should be dancing in March. I think in the Tourny talent eventually plays it course.

Nope I don't think he will score 35 ppg but I do expect him to be a 18 ppg player. Other people have to step up and I believe they will do so.

VCU had their share of losses last season? Remember Dickie V was upset when they got in?

Easy to explain. Turnovers, missed free throws, and Wisky's ability to hit clutch shots.

I am worried about their lack of ability to close out games. Turnovers and bad shots down the stretch seem to be the norm.

Still a Buckeye fan though!!

How much has Sullinger's draft stock dropped? That fake injury was convenient so the announcers could make excuses for his lack of productivity. The blueprint is out on him and this team relies on him way too much.

It's beyond me why OSU doesn't isolate Thomas on the block every once in a while.

I believe it was Jared's father Satch who said he won't enter the NBA draft until Ohio State wins a championship. But these past couple of games show how sometimes it's better to leave early before teams figure you out and the NBA find more flaws.

I said that today. If he returns he only continues to hurt his stock. Watching this All Star game you are in aweof how fast and athletic these guys are. Sullinger is no where near these guys. Not that that means he can't be a successful NBA player, but his game will certainly need to evolve.

Yeah the NBA is no joke when it comes to athleticism. Jared works hard but will have to find someway for his game to work in the league. I remember when he was in High School I went to "The Hoop" to checkout some open gyms. It was in the evening around 6pm. There was ballers just arriving but Jared was saying how he been there since like 10 o clock in the morning. I also witness the work ethic of Trey Burke of Michigan so I'm not too surprise at what he's doing. Sooner or later though, sometimes it takes more than just hard work because there are guys in the NBA making it on athleticism.

Like Roy Hibbert, Marc Gasol, and Kevin Love?

Sullinger and his draft stock are both fine.

Your last sentence sums it up. Everyone works hard in the NBA.

The most frustrating thing with Sullinger, and what might hurt his stock more than anything is he seems soft. When someone challenges him physically he shuts down( Mich. St, Michigan and today).

I was really looking forward to him vs. Thomas Robinson this year, and it might be best he didn't play.

Two of those guys are 7 footers and the other won the 3 point contest yesterday. Very poor argument.
