Lol I'm still surprised that deal didn't go down. That's what I get for listening to a guy that works in the PR department for the dodgers lol

Paul Janish with a great play for the Braves.

Miguel hit a HR at Fenway that looked about 485.

Paul Goldschmidt with a bullshit slide on Jerry Hairston. Hairston stayed with the base as protection and after release Goldschmidt got to the bag and slid shaking up Hairston pretty good....and Hairston is hot!

18 runs in his last 15 games, and 5 of the last 6 games he's had 2 runs. Stubbs > Trout.

Cliff Lee has been claimed. I'm guessing the Dodgers or Cardinals, looking at records of NL teams (who would all get a crack before an AL team).

He's owed a lot of money and performance has fallen recently. Given what the Phils have invested in Halladay, Hamels, Howard, Utley, etc...might he be elsewhere if someone gives them even just a decent prospect?

Good arm too. Looks like Jimmy Kimmel

Just did on a ball hit pretty much right at him, maybe a step to his right.

Cabrera is absolutely on fire with a homer and 3 RBI's in the Tigers win over NYY tonight. They seem to be heating up once again in August and making a beeline for the playoffs. It would be unreal to see a Tiger get the AL MVP for another season. I'm gonna say currently my picks for the playoffs are this...

Division winners:
East-NY Yankees
Central-Detroit
West-Texas
Wildcard-Tampa Bay & LA Angels

And the NL...
East-Atlanta
Central-Cincinnati
West-LA Dodgers
Wildcard-Washington & St Louis

And before you say Detroit is a homer pick, realize that they have 16 games in September against the Twins, Royals and Indians and their last 13 are A's,Twins, Royals and at Twins. No reason they shouldn't make a big charge if needed at the end. Plus now with Infante and Sanchez they are 4 deep in pitching and have another good bat in that lineup

You consider someone with a line of .287/9/40 to be another bat? Granted its better than what they have had all year at 2B but still. Haha.

Fister and Scherzer aren't bad at all. Fister has been banged up all year but last season when he was healthy he was tearing it up. Scherzer is 2nd in the MLB in K's this season but a terrible start to the season makes his numbers look horrible. And hey anyone who's hitting close to .300 is a solid bat
