Playoffs in 1988, 1999, 2000 and 2006. Do your homework.

Not mad at all, does it make you feel better to keep asking that? PS, happy to go beyond '86: Mets have 2 titles since '62 (their first season), the Braves have one. The Braves are the Buffalo Bills of baseball, so its ironic that a Braves fan is talking about laughing stocks.

Are you mad?

Did he slide, catch and pop up all in one fluid motion?

Good arm too. Looks like Jimmy Kimmel

Have you seen their record? That should clue you in to where he's been.

Sheets 6 innings of 2 hit ball with 5 Ks and a walk against a perennial playoff team. Not too shabby.

Looks like a nice pickup for you guys. Our general manager doesn't believe in adding players or talent.

Could be huge. He's probably the 2nd best starter on the roster right now, third best at worst.

Bryce Harper is fast becoming one of my favorite players to watch. Nats bullpen blows it, down to the Mets 4-3 in the 10th, Harper hits a double in the gap, doesn't settle for two, goes for third, slides head first. He scores the tieing run.
Pretty good game to watch.

People think he's an ass and arrogant but all he's done is say the right things and play his ass off. Smug settled big leaguers don't like it as he is taking some of their attention.....he ain't holding the cameras or asking the question....just plays like his hair is on fire.

Andrew McCutchen went 49 for his last 100.

He's 1/1 in his next 100.

Up to .375

Yeah, I've been watching the Nats pretty much every night in the background and he is doing and saying the right things.
He is literally giving 100% every play. He is usually well spoken and leaves most of the talking to the other Nats. And the Nats are a really solid team. I think they can make a nice run, if they can continue this.

a reporter asking a Mormon if he's going to drink because he's of legal age in Canada is about as clownish as it gets.

not good. some bad defense behind him hurt him early and then his last inning started with him not getting over to first base in time on a grounder. seemed like everything got to him mentally and he checked out. of course he's getting rocked and Fredi leaves him in about 2 or 3 batters too long.

Braves down 9-0 after 5....it's now 9-8 in the 8th

Michael Morse hit a HR that had fans jumping out of the way about 460 feet away. Very Wily Mo-ish

Chipper two rbi single in the 8th moves him into first all time among third basemen.

Not sure what happened earlier but I assume Hanson got rocked. Ben Sheets for MVP.

Time for Janish to be a hero.

Or get drilled in the back on a bunt attempt. Clippard is all over the place.
