Im pretty good at nabbing pitchers early in their careers. I had Lincecum as well as a rookie, for 3 years. But we have stipulations on keepers, so we cant have them for more than a certain number of years.

I lean you have to take it easy with him, but don't shut him down. For all we know this could be the Nats only shot for a run. Sure they have young talent, but as we have seen with the Indians over the years, never take a good team for granted.

Stipulations are you cant keep anyone more than 6 years (traded players KEEP years), You only have 15 years to go around, so you cant have all 5 players at 6 years either. It really comes down to 4 keepers though, as each year you must have at least 1 new keeper that you drafted the year before (per, losing that spot in the draft). You also cannot drop a player hoping he clears waivers and pick him back up as your FA keeper. We had a guy do this over the 4th weekend. No one was online all weekend to see it, and he got Hanley. It was an amazing move on his part, so I put the rule in place next season.

As for Ackley, I thought he would be a stud this year. My team is loaded though.
