odd he was able to do that at basketball games. football i can see, since he could get a helmet and blend in better.

Players and coaches assumed he was a fan who had come with another team, so nobody objected when he began to pitch in around the bench.

"He helped lay out uniforms, got water. He even gave a couple of kids shoulder massages. Creepy stuff like that," said Jim Haussler, activities director for the Bismarck Public School District.
So a guy who clearly has no association with the team shows up and starts doing "creepy stuff like that", and nobody objects? That seems odd.

I would love to see him in action though. Just launching himself at an unsuspecting target.

Just put a collar on and attend go to a Catholic HS game. Behavior might even seem normal, then.
