I am seriously thinking of splitting this bitch up into two different sites. Use the freehuddle domain as a tame, HS based site and come up with a new domain for a general BS site that has no HS stuff on it. Unfortunately, seriousbusiness.com is already taken. Fuck me!

But I definitely see your point. I logged on this morning and read some of this stuff and my only thought was "Seriously? WTF is wrong with people?"
And if, after interacting with all the morons I have come across in my line of work, I can still be suprised that people are that idiotic, you know we have some serious morons around this place.

People will break the rules no matter what type of forum is offered. I think this site is great just the way it is we will just have to conintue to weed out the BS.

Don't let them get to you. There will always be people who have something to complain about... you can't please everyone. And you don't have to please everyone, as this is your site and no one is forced to come here.
One idea though would be to possibly divide the high school forums more from the non-high school stuff and make clear the language different. But honestly, I don't think it should be a difference... what high school kid doesnt hear/speak that kind of language themselves on a daily basis with their friends.
It's only the prude adults (not all adults are prude, just some) that are complaining... the same adults that make life no fun.

Don't listen to them. Seriously, these are the same stupid high horse people from the huddle who think their shit doesn't stink. They will eventually go away.
Another suggestion would be an "ask a moderator" forum, where we all have access, any member can post a thread, but only a mod can respond. That way we can keep the stupid shit out of the other forums.

Yep..you got the idiots..but you're going to have them anywhere. No matter what you do. You have the HS forums as no swearing..if they don't like the swearing..let them stay on the HS forums. It's not a hard concept. If you don't like it..DON'T COME HERE.

From all the threads I've seen over the past couple days, the only one where I'd consider there to be an EXCESS of profanity would be the Oral (Sex) Roberts is dead one.
And that's primarily due to one post by Football71 where right after criticizing others for being immature punks, he tried to set a Freehuddle record for most F-bombs dropped in one paragraph. That post probably shouldn't have stood, but I found the combination of two things too amusing to alter anything.
1. The irony of someone railing against the immaturity of others going off on a profanity-ridden rant where he was obviously cussing for the sake of cussing.
2. How CGW reported a completely different post under the pretense that the ONLY reason Rule #3 was being broken was because people were posting unkind things about A PREACHER!!!!OMG!!!
Things like that are why I both love and hate people at the same time.
