Should be a preview of the DII Boardman district championship for the second straight season, last year in which the cats won 36-33. This season the cats ran away with one at Poland up 25 at one point to take a 70-55 victory.
I see this game being very close but Jacubec seals the game late. Thoughts?

Jacubec vs. Reardon; two of the better guys around going at it --- should be fairly close.
As for the district championship, I'm hoping the Quakers turn it on and come out of their side of the bracket to face Struthers for the district crown (knowing we have defeated them already this season). We'll see what happens.

Schmidt exploded for 29 the first go around with Poland.
Poland will do a much better job of keeping him in check this time. This will open things up for Jacubec to spread the ball around.
Jake will get his usual 20-25 points... but this one will come down to 2 things. Execution on offense, and D-ing up on Reardon. Last time, the Cats held him to just 19 points.
Poland has been playing better basketball of late. Struthers was taken to OT by a 2 win Niles team. I'm not saying that Poland will win... but Struthers will need to step their game up.

Cats did not shoot well in last night's loss. The Cats have looked sluggish over the past couple of games. The Cats
need to start playing better or they will have an early exit in the tournament at Boardman.

Jacubec had 31... the next highest scorer was Sapp with 6.
That's not gonna cut it. They're capable of playing so much better.
Still, they only lost by a point... on a shot that came with under 5 seconds left.
Hopefully the Cats can shake this one off, and get ready for the tournemant.
Go Cats!

Liberty won't be easy, especially at Liberty. We only be them by 2 pts. at Struthers. Liberty just gave 20-0 LaBrae all they could handle, losing by only 6 pts.
We'll have to play on all cylinders.
Go Cats!
