Only way NW gets a 14 or 15 seed is if they win the big ten tourney..like Georgia did a couple years ago

Big-conference teams never get that low of a seed, anyway, do they? I've seen them at 12 and, I think, very rarely at 13, but 14 and lower are always given to one-bid conference champs.
And for NW to get in, they'd either have to win the conference tourney or probably close the season no worse than 6-2 to make them 20-10, 10-8 in the regular season. And that looks like a long shot. I can see them going 5-3...or 3-5. As inconsistent as they've been in conference play, the home game with Iowa and probably the road one at Penn are the only two I'd be remotely comfortable picking them in.

That's what I mean..he said NW as a 14 or 15 seed...very rarely does that happen for bcs conference teams...pretty much the only example I could find recently is Georgia when they went beast mode in the sec conf tourney..I believe they were under .500 too

Northwestern and Illinois won't make it. Minnesota has an outside shot, but I still don't see it. They do have a ton of chances for quality W's upcoming, and most of them at home.

How did you misread posting NW and Georgia as 14 or 15 seeds as there are 25 better teams than OSU?assumption;1078544 wrote:Yeah I misread his reply. Sorry.
