This is a collection of snapshots of Facebook and Twitter posts and comments about Onion articles, thinking that the article is actually true.
I stumbled upon this from an article about a Louisiana Congressman that fell for the article "Planned Parenthood Opens $8 Billion Abortionplex"
Hilarious. There's a ton on there.
As a frequent reader of The Onion, and someone who posts articles on Facebook all the time I am actually shocked that I have never run into this on my Facebook wall. Maybe I'm just not friends with any dumb people?

I know someone who got an email fwd about a traffic stop and DUI arrest, and believed it to be true.
It was actually a clip from Reno 911. When I told this person and laughed....he got pissed! He had fwd it to everyone he knew thinking it was real!
I kinda got caught with an Onion article last week. On another site someone posted a link about a girl getting euthanized because she was a vegetable and all she could do was text and say stuff was gay. I didnt read it but commented how that how many kids are like this, and that it sounded like an article from The Onion.

The first one has got to be The Onion creating a fake story about a Congressman falling for a fake story. Orrrr...that dumbass needs impeached yesterday.

These people make me want to stab someone (them). It's like they can't even hear the word abortion (or gay marriage or whatever other hot button issues are out there) without giving their fucking opinion. I love that people have differing opinions than me, I just love it more when they keep it to themselves. Hell, even the people that I agree with I'd prefer if they shut up about shit. This happened with my father in law; might have been the same video. The drunk driver and the cop started doing a bunch of goofy shit, and he showed it to me and sent it out to a bunch of people.
