Just curious to see if I'm the only person who has a big problem with this game.
I feel like putting these two against one another was a big cop out for the BCS. In my mind, it allows the BCS supporters to downplay a BCS win by one of these schools. "Sure they won a BCS game, but they didn't beat a big conference opponent." I can hear it now. If the BCS wanted to match up unbeaten teams, make the games Boise/TCU v. Cincinnati and the other versus Florida. I feel like this was nothing more than the BCS attempting to maintain their argument that the "non-BCS" schools aren't on the same level.
I think its a shame that these schools aren't going to be given the opportunity to show what they can do against a school from a major conference. Poor decision on the part of the people that run the BCS.

I agree with your points. Thought the same things when I watched the BSC show. Plus we had this game last year in one of the undercard bowls.

Its about money. Boise and TCU are both way closer to the Fiesta Bowl, thus more fans will travel. More money for the fiesta bowl. They're the ones who chose those teams, not the BCS.
