I've never seen a field that has had field turf (or a similar product) installed within the last 5 - 8 years have standing water on the field.
They must have screwed up the drainage when they installed the turf. For example I was at a high school field earlier this year after a day of pouring rain and the field was no different than it would have been after a light sprinkle. They claimed that field could withstand 4 to 6 inches of rain per hour and not have any standing water.
If a high school field in Ohio can have sufficient drainage, you'd think a big time NFL stadium would.
