No I definitely can. I'm choosing to post down here, bring some traffic to areas where there is no traffic.ernest_t_bass;1073504 wrote:Are you telling me that you can't post anywhere besides the basement?

I think the MAC would be a good place for him to go and he should coach and get that punishment behind him while in the MAC and then 5 years from now get another job at an up and comer

He can't post in the CFB forum. Pretty sure he can post everywhere else though.

So Tressel will be the new Head Coach? That'd be amazing. Akron might start getting some very good recruits due to Tressel, and maybe be relevant in the next few years. They'll never be better than OSU though

I'm sure this will help Akron get even more thug football players, who decide stay close to home and become a zip.

on the other hand.. I read the article about Tressel getting hired at U Akron with a made up position for him. He will most likely take the wheel in the near future, but not this year, BUT ,my little turtle man, I am CERTAIN he will be helping the football program one way or another. Why else would they make up a positiion for him. This will get them some 3 maybe 4 star recruits in the future, no 5 starts though, it is Akron after all. However 3 and 4 star recruits are HUGE in the MAC last time i checked. You get the majority of your lineup in the next 4-6 years with mostly 3 and 4 star players in the MAC you are looking at a possible conference championship (depending if Tressel eventually coaches them in years to come) and maybe a bigger bowl berth, but most likely not BSC. This would still be HUGE for Akron
Just trying to show you my reasoning. So i guess what i'm trying to say is:How many Nat'l Championships have you coached Iliketurtles? Or even D1 College Football coaching jobs have you held? Oh yeah, thats right my bad.

Do you think Tressel chokes his wife? Everytime there is a picture of her she is wearing a weird scarf around her neck. Maybe covering up the marks?

Jim Tressel will be 64 when his Show Cause is up. I doubt he will return to coaching.BearBoy69;1074167 wrote:easy killer

I see what you are saying. All I am trying to say is he'll have his hand in that football program. It's in his blood. If you've ever coached or been good at a sport you'd understand. There is no keeping you from it. Maybe not a Head Coach, but he'll have his hand in it, and you bet your butt he'll be helping with recruiting. Why wouldn't he and WHY in the hell would they make up a whole new position to hire him? and also, if he is done coaching why'd he help Indy this season and interview for the Head Coach job for 2012? It doesn't sound like a man who is ready to give up just yet. Us Akron people can only hope at least, but i believe my argument is solid none the less.LJ;1074205 wrote:Jim Tressel will be 64 when his Show Cause is up. I doubt he will return to coaching.
