My phone can barely text and barely make calls. My work phone is a landline phone because I don't want people bugging me 24/7 when I'm trying to relax after a long week of work.

Use my phone all the time while in restroom except to talk! I will text, email, web surf, apps, etc...but I don't talk on the phone while going either! Heck I don't like to talk to anyone while in the restroom period!

I'd rather only invest in assets that increase my future wealth. A smartphone does not do that, neither does a fancy car, etc. Wealth producing assets are all I care about. Playing on your phone has replaced for many reading a book/paper/magazine while on the crapper. I wouldnt talk on the phone, but text and surfing the web...yeah...I can see 75% and higher doing that.
