Long story short. Today we went to Red Lobster for lunch. Dad got shrimp and steak, which instead of being medium was more like shoe leather. The waitress came around and asked us if everything was all right and he showed her his steak. She told him that it didn't look right and asked if he wanted a new one, which he declined, and was told something would be taken off our bill. In the meantime, we all had a nice lunch with some of the best bread known to man. By the time the check came around, he noticed that his dinner was taken off of the bill which was nice. Gee, thanks Red Lobster!

Was on a double date once and the guy had a small piece of paper on a piece of his shrimp, like a tag or something. They gave him his meal for free.

I had Longhorn Friday. It was good, and it went off without a hitch. They also honored the Darden gift card I had got for my birthday from my work a month ago. Hope this helps.

I eat those cheddar bay biscuits like I haven't eaten in 3 days.

The waiter's tip is directly relevant to how quickly and without request they bring em to my table.

It doesn't matter how done it was, there's no way he was passing up a free steak.

I had a similar story today:

I ordered Texas Roadhouse for carry-out and it was awesome.

Oh wait, that's not similar at all. Point is, you should have gone to Texas Roadhouse instead.

Hope this helps.

Red Lobster is good if your idea of seafood is fish sticks.

Who the hell goes to the Red Lobster for a steak? It's like going to TGI Fridays and getting upset because your spaghetti sucked. If you wanted steak, there are plenty of steakhouses to choose from.

Maybe everyone else in the party wanted seafood and told dad (who may not like seafood - though he did get shrimp, but still could be picky with seafood) to fuck off.

The steak there is a lot better than most chain steak places I've been to. One of the best steaks I've ever had was at a Carrabas.

Have to agree. The Wife was surprised by the steak there when she had it. We were going to go there just for a steak for her a few months ago, but it was too crowded. We ended up going to a locally owned place called SmoQ. Great place, ironic as we ate at SmoQ tonight.

Red Lobster is about the only chain restaurant I'll eat at.

Too bad their is no locally owned restaurants where you live.
