Going to churches, using your assistant coach to speak at football banquets. I second what stroups said.Richt’s visit to Harvey-Clemons church today should make an interesting mix. The AJC reported the Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher will have lunch with the family on Thursday. Florida assistant Brian White will be a speaker at the Lowndes High football banquet Thursday night.
That was a different kind of recruit though. He was already a top high school QB, and won a national championship at the juco level which is definitely better competition than high school. Plus QB is a much more important position to winning than WR or RB.gport_tennis;1065827 wrote:the last recruit that was paid 200,000 dollars lead his team to a title

Attending church, one thing. Donating $200k, quite another. But you're from the SEC, what difference can you tell?Speedofsand;1065947 wrote:Noah Spence committed to OSU soon after Meyer went to mass with him.
even a moron knows the 200k picture was Newton's church.lhslep134;1065954 wrote:Attending church, one thing. Donating $200k, quite another. But you're from the SEC, what difference can you tell?
LOL! lhs maybe if you actually read the article you would have saw that the church Muschamp went to was called Mt. Calvary Baptist and not Holy Zion Center of Deliverance.Speedofsand;1065956 wrote:even a moron knows the 200k picture was Newton's church.
Haha I actually thought it was fitting and pretty funny you used the photo of Newton's church.SportsAndLady;1066155 wrote:I actually didn't know the picture at the church was different than this..lol that's my bad

SOS, it's called being facetious.Speedofsand;1065956 wrote:even a moron knows the 200k picture was Newton's church.
So you are dogging one of YOUR coaches and the conference he coaches in? Or are you no longer a UF fan?lhslep134;1066389 wrote:Come on you really think I was being serious? I sincerely doubt Muschamp would drop $200,000 out of his own pocket for 1 recruit. It was just a jab at SEC recruiting tactics.
Haha I couldn't telllhslep134;1066389 wrote:Come on you really think I was being serious? I sincerely doubt Muschamp would drop $200,000 out of his own pocket for 1 recruit. It was just a jab at SEC recruiting tactics.
