I think the first place to start is by thread banning people for attacking other poster's teams for posting their opinions. Right, but I don't think the thread banning works...maybe i am wrong. I have tried to use it several times and it didn't function correctly. Then someone else tried to use it on that indian creek dude for spamming that other site..and it didn't work/

I don't know if it's that easy...all a non-OSU fan (not even a troll) has to do is show up to talk about anything, even if they're ON TOPIC, on an OSU thread, and you get sleeper, cbf, Big Gain, and some of the others if they're feeling confrontational just start yelling HURRRRRR TROLLLLLLL and tank the threads all on their own.

We should use discretion and thread ban anyone who starts shit. Yeah, those two are tricky. Lotz is bipolar... sometimes he actually does have something to say and get blasted on principle, other times he wants to start shit from the get go.

It would be easier to watch this stuff, if we all had the ability to infract across all forums. Honestly, I can handle the obvious trollers more than guys like Lotz, dynasty, and tobias. They just annoy me to no end, because they act like they're not trolling.

I really think if we had a one week trial period where all mods had the power to moderate in every forum, we would see that the good posters would really appreciate the mods keeping topics on point.

1. Move threads. Sometimes I or someone else will see a thread that needs moved, but we dont have the power to do so. So it just sits.
2. Thread banning needs fixed and we need full discretion to be able to thread ban people when needed.
3. To be able to unapprove posts in all forums. First a precedent needs set on trolling, as soon as that happens, then any mod who sees a trolling post can unapprove the post and report it.
I think infracting and everything else should be left up to the super mods or the specific forum mods.

This is something that I'll have better control over when I switch the forum to drupal. As I've said before, vbulletin sucks and half the shit doesn't work like it should.
