I figured I would go ahead and start the annual thread for State Tournament tickets. I'm guessing books don't get sent out for at least a few more weeks, if not a month from now... but we can get the chatter going. Who needs 'em? And who's got 'em (or will have them)?
I am officially putting my name out there in need of 2 books for my father and me, preferably in the Entry Level (sections 105-106, 122-123) or Club Level (205-206, 222-223). Last year the person from whom we got our tickets showed integrity - he was unable to go, so he sold my father and me his books for face value. (he actually had 3 books he sold us, so we just got rid of the other book for face value since we only needed 2)
If you have 2 books you're looking to sell, please send me a private message or email (thepitman13 @gmail.com). Thank you!
Moderators, can we sticky this thread?

My dad and I are still looking for 2 books. Any of these sections: 105-106, 122-123, 205-206, 222-223. I know tickets haven't been sent out, yet, but I'm keeping the communication lines open. Please PM me with your email address and I'll get in touch ASAP. Thanks!

My father and I have narrowed our desired sections to 205, 206, 222, or 223 (no longer want 100's). Please feel free to PM me or email me at thepitman13 @gmail.com if you have tickets you wish to sell. Thank you!

Getting down to the deadline. Still think you'll have more success down there...but price might be high. I'll guarantee that there are lots of guys go there to sell their books & use the money for their weekend bar tab.

Yeah. It's common knowledge that the "cheapest" way is to buy right before each game. My dad and I don't like doing that. We like having our tickets in hand, know where we're going to sit, and not have to wait until tip-off to get less than face value. We enjoy being able to tailgate between games instead of shopping around for best prices, and then we can go in as early or late as we want. Finding tickets beforehand takes away all the stress.RedRider1;1114694 wrote:Getting down to the deadline. Still think you'll have more success down there...but price might be high. I get that...just tough to find "advertisers" with books since most are selling tickets given to them by their employer, selling them an pocketing the $$$.
I'm the same way...like to have tix in hand.

I would like to go to the Pick Central game. Can I get tickets at the door?

Yes. Games will NEVER sell out. Unless Lebron James and OJ May are playing each other. And even then, I doubt it.gerb131;1121714 wrote:I would like to go to the Pick Central game. Can I get tickets at the door?

Dude, next year, just get your tickets at the door.
For the Division II game yesterday I walked up, asked the college kid at the counter I wanted a ticket closest to the floor, he said Ive got one best as they come. 2nd row off the court behind the bench center court! And this was one hour before tipoff.
Total cost. $15
