What say you CGW?

from buck nuts...from some ND board...

Just received this e-mail:
"I just heard this from a friend with ties to the LSU athletic department. I am not sure if it is true or not but a lot of the pieces fit. Apparently about 3 hours before the game T-Bob Hebert, Russell Shepard and 2 other receivers and a hand full of linemen got into a heated argument with Les Miles and the Offensive Coordinator about Lee getting more playing time and possibly starting the BCS Championship game. It got so heated that Miles benched T-Bob and RS and 3 other players. He called Lee into his office and told Lee that he would not be playing in the game. The OC told Miles that he thought that Lee gave the team the best chance to win the game. Miles told the OC to start looking for a new job after the game and Miles will be calling the plays for the championship game. Apparently the O Line sided with T-Bob and Lee and did not give their all in the game to prove to Miles that the players are more important then the coach. Now I know that this is hard to believe but when you look at some things it kind of explains a few things: I will list some. Read option pass on 3rd and 10 4 times. Running the same 5 plays over 90% of the game. Horrible play calling. Running the ball in the 4th quarter down by 21. T-Bob not taking a snap. RS only playing 3 snaps and not hardly touching the ball or getting looked at. Lee getting off the bus and walking 10 feet behind the team with his head down and looking dejected. Heated argument between receivers and Jordan Jefferson and O Line with O line coach on sidelines. And another player reports that 2/3rds of the plays practiced were not run and the players were not told why. Again I do not know if this is entirely true but there seems to be a lot of truth in it just by seeing what happened."
From what I understand WR's Russell Shepard, Rueben Randle and Kadron Boone all declared for the draft the day after the game and as of yesterday another WR is now tranferring to Auburn (I think). There has been a ton of information coming out of Baton Rouge the last past couple days.

haha how did I know I'd have to provide a link. I purposely did not post it. T-Bob said its false on his twitter. Also Russell Sheppard changed his mind and is staying next year at LSU.

Sorry for not answering the OP's question. Just got on the computer for the first time in awhile. SOS pretty much covered it. Is there any truth to it? Who knows. As of now, its not true, but it wouldnt surprise me. Kinda odd from the first 3 and out they werent acting right. Looked like they were intimidated/lost or something.

And yes, RS is coming back. Dont know why he thought he was NFL material. Playing next year with more of a passing game will help him and will show if he's NFL caliber.

I don't believe this shit for one second. However, I do believe that TSmith slept with tons of gf's and wives then sent the evidence priority mail to the locker room pregame.

PS: RS is one of the most disappointing recruits I've seen in awhile. I think he would have had a much better career playing elsewhere.

Yeah, RS would of been a good QB probably in the right system. He shouldnt of tried to become the next Percy Harvin. I think he could of been a D Thomas (oregon) type QB, even at LSU, if Miles knew what he was doing.

Why would they wait until 3 hours before the championship game to argue for Lee, instead of at some point during the practices in the 6 week layoff? It sounds like a bullshit fan rationalization for why a bad offense looked inept against the best defense in the country.

I find it funny that it seems like almost every year where a team gets flat out beat in the NCG that there was some kind of "locker room conspiracy" behind it. It's like teams aren't allowed to get legitly out played without some "internal struggle".

When you get shut out you tend to start rumors ect.. to keep the public eye off the fact you got no points. LSU will be tough in 12-13 season too.
