Rented a great Christmas movie recently called "Nativity" it was on the big screen a couple years ago. It depicts the real life events set in Bible time Nazereth/Jerusalem/Bethlehem, the angels, Elizabeth/John, Herod, Wise men, sheperds, the manger, and the persecution Mary (so young) went through and how Joseph (so humble) stepped up and believed Mary. Its a realy good movie to watch with the kids.

I saw that movie when it first came out on dvd, loved it! Very well made and as far as religious movies, I think it's right there behind The Passion of Christ.

Decent movie, though highly inaccurate. The biggest issue I had was that the Wise Men showed up at the manger, and if you read the nativity story in the Bible it is very clear that is was probably two months or so before they showed up. As far as I'm concerned, it was a really good church Christmas pageant.

Ya true, also Herod waited 2 years before he killed all the 2yr old boys, man that dude was evil.
But all in all still a pretty acurate movie depicting the story.
