Early going of the PPV, who's everybody thinking in the big 3 tonight?

I would bet on Penn, Mir, and Florian.

First fight with Struve and Buenatello (sp?) hasn't been too extraordinary yet.

Is there a more exciting fighter in the UFC than Clay Guida? The dude is crazy.

I can't believe Yamasaki stopped the fight right there. Florian was in the middle of a nice rally.

That cut was NASTY. What a performance by BJ Penn. He is a scary scary man at 155.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that the first time in UFC history a fight has been stopped in the 5th round? If I'm not mistaken every other time a fight has gone to round 5, it ended in the judges hands.

Penn and Mir both looked solid.

I think the only other title fight that went into the 5th round but didn't go to a decision was when Ricco Rodriguez beat Randy Couture for the LHW title in September, 2002.

Disappointing night all the way around. Three of my favorite fighters (Guida, Sanchez, and Kongo) all failed to show up.

Kongo is the most disappointment of all. Besides his win over Cro Cop, he has really done nothing in the UFC. Shouldn't be allowed to even sniff a title shot for a long time.

I dislike Mir a great deal, but his new size is impressive. He might be able to give Lesnar a challenge now that he has added so much weight. Maybe I'm unfamiliar with the process, but it seems like adding 30 pounds of muscle in only 5 months is a big step up.

Also, that Sanchez cut was one of the worst I've ever seen.
