Last night sucked, except for the massive amounts of booze. But a loss was inevitable at some point. Next week if they'd won last night. Too many injuries to be a real competitor the way things turned out.
During halftime, I was pretty much resigned to defeat because they were down 14 and without their top HB, all three of the early-season DL starters and with a top LB having limited effectiveness. As well as their QB, who was immobile and a bit off on his passes AND not getting any help from receivers, who'd dropped about 3-4 passes in the first half.
So, of course, they make a comeback to get me back into the game before losing like they did. I think I was slackjawed with disbelief for like five minutes after that play.
