If they were going to spend on a FA, I would've preferred they went on the defensive side of the ball and went after Finnegan (CB-Rams). That guy has given the Rams D a whole new identity.
Just all goes towards the idea the regime put arbitrary self imposed hand-cuffs on themselves because they wouldn't think outside their own little boxes.
Whether it was free agency, the idea of adjusting the system to fit the talent (rather than forcing square pegs into a round hole), they bizarrely have seemed more interested in being "right" than winning games since they got here. Just doesn't make sense.
