If JaMarcus Russell was in this draft, he would have slipped to the 2nd/3rd round. Everybody knew Russell would bust, except for the Raiders. I remember on here NOBODY thought he was going to be any good.BR1986FB;1173983 wrote:This guy says "anything is possible...."
lol you're right, the bungals getting scouts is a sign that every player from here until the end of time will work out.SportsAndLady;1174055 wrote:Just watch...within NFL organizations, emphasis on scouting has picked up immensely. The Bengals just hired scouts for the first time ever.
They know what to look for now more than they did in the past. There will never be a #1 overall QB bust, imo.
"According to Billick, though, Boller wasn’t the best college quarterback prospect he saw in his time here. That would be JaMarcus Russell, the No. 1 overall pick in 2007 and one of the biggest draft busts in NFL history."SportsAndLady;1174056 wrote:If JaMarcus Russell was in this draft, he would have slipped to the 2nd/3rd round. I didn't say that at all, but thanksCommander of Awesome;1174057 wrote:lol you're right, the bungals getting scouts is a sign that every player from here until the end of time will work out.
Oh so you meant I literally meant EVERYONE in the world thought Russell would bust...you're unbearable to argue with. Nice fail S&L. Next time try and do some research.

Hard to argue with because you expect everyone to feed into your spouting of BS.SportsAndLady;1174056 wrote:If JaMarcus Russell was in this draft, he would have slipped to the 2nd/3rd round. Do you ever say "this is the worst day ever?"Commander of Awesome;1174067 wrote:Hard to argue with because you expect everyone to feed into your spouting of BS.
Phil Savage was pissing his pants over him at the time. I think he may have even made an effort to try to trade up for him (but don't quote me on that). Russell would've probably had just as much hype as RG3 in this draft.SportsAndLady;1174056 wrote:If JaMarcus Russell was in this draft, he would have slipped to the 2nd/3rd round. Which is why Phil Savage isn't a GM anymore lolBR1986FB;1174077 wrote:Phil Savage was pissing his pants over him at the time. I think he may have even made an effort to try to trade up for him (but don't quote me on that). Russell would've probably had just as much hype as RG3 in this draft.
I'm sure if there were other teams drafting at #1, who needed a QB in that draft, they would've taken Russell at that spot.SportsAndLady;1174083 wrote:Which is why Phil Savage isn't a GM anymore lol
Lol wutCommander of Awesome;1174100 wrote:You're right S&L, the highest rated player of all time in the Ravens organization (an org that drafts very well mind you) would have slipped into the 3rd round because everyone on the OC knew he would bust. Just like we all knew that Newton would be a bust.
Read the link I provided, not that hard to follow.SportsAndLady;1174113 wrote:Lol wut
This is a logical fallacy. A quite hilarious one at that. I'll see if you can figure out why.SportsAndLady;1173625 wrote:

The way law schools are these day, they're pumping out lawyers with great precise-ness. I don't think we'll ever see another serial killer walk. With the technology out there for lawyering, all the money they have to put into education, how easy it is to travel and see these cases...it's not going to happen. Just my opinion..don't have to agree if you don't want. /s&lSportsAndLady;1174530 wrote:Zomg im in law school im so smart lolol
