Licking Valley vs. Big Walnut/ Desales vs. West Jeff in round 1.
Winners will wrestle in round 2. Should be some good matches throughout the evening. I have seen all the lineups but there will be some intriguing possible match ups.
In the LV/BW dual:
160- Schenz (9-1) vs. Lagace (11-1)- Schenz is a state alternate and sectional champ.
126- Crum (6-4) vs. Parsons (12-0)- Crum is a DQ, Parsons is a 2X district placer
285- Griffith (4-1) vs. Redman (3-1)- both pretty solid big boys in the district.
182, if the teams allign right could see Ferguson vs. Harble, that would be agreat match. Schenz could wrestle Allen which would be a rematch of last years sectional final. I will put more online once I get all the lineups.

Agreed Legace - Shenz will be a good match - I saw Shenz wrestle at the pre-season open at BW.

While not a dual team for lack of numbers....they have some hammers.

Looking at West Jeff's webiste I see they have quite a few kids on their roster- they don't show weights though. Do they have a full team?
I'm guessing Big Walnut will fill all their weight classes as they usually have a stong program with a lot of kids.

I heard today they (big walnut) are missing alot of guys due to injury or sickness. I do not know if that is true thou. I guess we will see tonight when i go and watch and give updates when i get back home on all the matches. There are going to be some good ones. my guess licking valley beats big walnut and west jeff beats desales and then licking valley beats west jeff and big walnut beats desales. we will see.

I was mainly watching LV's duals and I know there was a whole lot of excitement over at the Desales V BW dual, but didn't follow exactly who beat who.

Full results will be in the paper. Desales won the dual with BW 31-27 while LV beat WJ pretty handily. There were some great matches tonight from all teams and it looked like there were some individuals who are very close to post season form. Good luck the rest of the season to all teams.
