The fewest backround/character flaws....aka squeaky clean

Tiger would have been way up on this list maybe except his TV language during bad shots

But who is it now?...as Tiger has humped...I mean jumped off the cliff

I'll go with Peyton Manning....a definate superstar, top notch QB, with championship, MVPs....squeaky clean image....and maybe most of all, doesn't take himself too seriously.

Peyton with a slight edge of Jeter...who gives a great argument for doing his image in New York.

Others:

Roger Federer, Albert Pujols, Tim Duncan (though he's pretty pissy on the court)

Jeter was caught with 2 "escorts" last year at spring training. He is single, so nothing wrong with it, but the New York media lets some stuff go that they could blow up if they so chose to do.

Peyton Manning is a good pick. Cant think of anyone else off the top of my head.

Jeter would probably still land in my top 5-10.

Yeah, Derek freaking Jeter in NY, biggest star just about all the time and worth $300 million dollars only gets caught with 2 girls in 15 years......he's definately on the top 10 list.

I wasnt saying that it was bad or anything. But guys like Manning and Roger dont even have that, so I have to put them ahead of Jeter.

Tebow has to be up there, if you're counting all sports.

Pro Only, I'd agree with those that have said Peyton Manning should be up there, also would make a pitch for Kurt Warner as well.

Manning has got to be at the top now. Federer is a good choice as well along with Jeter.

I would say Jeter. The media there has all eyes on everything, so I think the fact that he has put together a hall of fame career there without incident makes him the best candidate.

Manning also married his college girlfriend, and both are heavily involved in charitable pursuits.

He also, unlike Jeter, never spread the herp to anyone.

Phil Mickelson, unless he is playing the fake family man like Tiger was, has always struck me as a being a pretty clean guy. He married his college sweetheart and has seemed like a pretty devoted family man. He supposedly spends a ton of time signing autographs after rounds and is purported to be a wildly generous tipper.

Some people think he's a phony, but I have always rooted for his every man Arnold Palmer persona. I also have loved his style of play with the foot constantly on the accelerator even though doom often lurked around the corner.

Apparently corporate America loves Phil also, because he finished behind only Tiger last year in total earnings at something in the range of 52 million.

I have to agree with those mentioning Peyton Manning. He is a tremendous quarterback (possibly the best ever), and his image couldn't be better. He is very charitable, has a great sense of humor, and is at the top of his game.

Others like Jeter, Federer, and Mickleson would be high on my list as well. Others like Kurt Warner would be near the top too.

Gotta be...
1. Peyton Manning
2. Ken Griffey Jr. (I mean, how do you play baseball in the 90's and not even get accused of steroids?)
3. A.C. Green...(is he still a v*rg*n?)
4. Jimmie Johnson...the most god-like creature on four wheels since AJFoyt?:P

Kurt Warner. His story is about as good as it gets in pro sports.

I would say Pujols over all of them. He will go down as the greatest right handed hitter of all time, and I've never heard anything negative about him.

Lebron James had negative news come out about him in HS, with the jerseys. . . otherwise he has been pretty clean.
Peyton Manning was accused of sexual harassment by a Tennessee athletic trainer. . . take the claim for what its worth, but since, he has been pretty clean.
