There's a reason you never hear about him being in the "in-circle" of Notre Dame football legends. All of the people who know him know he's a slimeball. A guy with too little money and too much fame will turn sour quickly.

Not a huge surprise. People I trust who know the man well say that his interest in the movie was always to find a way to cash in as opposed to any interest in telling the story.

Listening to the Dan Patrick show last week and an interview with Joe Montana who played with ole Rudy, not a lot of good things to say. Said most of the movie was fictitious and embellished for the sake of telling a better story/making the movie better.

What ticked me off from the film was that they made head coach Dan Devine out to be the films villain, when in fact it was his idea to dress Rudy for the game and put him into play at the end of the game, being 100% supportive the entire time Rudy was on the team.
