South Carolina told the NCAA it agrees that major violations took place in its football program and will eliminate six football scholarships over the next three years as part of several self-imposed penalties.The school released its response Wednesday, three months after the NCAA said the Gamecocks received $55,000 in improper benefits for staying at a Columbia hotel at a reduced rate. The NCAA also noted the university's improper involvement with a Delaware-based mentoring group whose president and treasurer are boosters and South Carolina graduates.

Selling your own stuff for Tattoos is worse than this by a lot. Ohio State needs the death penalty, and these guys should get only a couple lost scholarships.

I mean wouldn't this be more of a ad and administration fail then coach and players. I'm not sure support even knows the prices of the hotels his players stay in.

Try reading the article. The hotel that they stayed at was in Columbia, so it wasnt like it was used for a team function. 10 football players and 2 women's track athletes received the improper benefits. 47000 was from the hotel and there was an additional 8000 of improper benefits given to players by boosters.WebFire;1016258 wrote:Kind of what I was thinking. fify. Also don't forget about the other 'stuff' , like tats, cars, & drugs. Probably? So your assuming something based on nothing, while there is proof of illegal housing in Columbia. A year in a hotel is like 100 tattoos
