I checked various websites and they all said the state of Montana was closed for winter and will reopen on April 1th.

That's impossible....the Helena Grandmas AA team opens on 3/31 hosting the Portland Nikes.

The Helena Grandmas are now defunct. They have been depoted to the Mexican League.

Butte is actually a pretty cool town. I have been out there on business a couple times--- it's been about five years or so though. There are a few cool breweries in town and drinking is a major past time there. In fact, IIRC I remember being told it is the only city where you are aloud to have open containers within the city limit.
Biker rallies are a big deal there, sort of like a western version of Sturgis.

I rarely drink.....hope this helps you help me. Biker rallies are for guys who like boobs, penises and green flies. I only like boobs.
