Giggs landed 85% of his strikes. That's pretty damned good.

I wanted a 3rd round also. I know it seems far fetched but I think Fedor would have found a way to win. I see why he would contemplate retirement. He was undefeated and then loses 2 in a row. I would like to see him go to the UFC but I guess we will see what happens.
So where was V. Overeem before he came to Strikeforce?

Fedor has been a joke for like the last 3-4 years. He hasnt fought anyone he lost to bigfoot tonight who had lost his last 2 fights.

Bigfoot is a better fighter than you give him credit for. And he had 40lbs on Fedor. I was amazed that Fedor was able to fight his way through the second round and I think he would have made it competitive in the third if the swelling wasn't so bad.

how is bigfoot a good fighter he couldnt beat any of the top 3-4 hw in the ufc fedor is now hard to even put in the top 10 in the world at hw. i would list bigfoot Sergei Kharitonov mir carwin lesnar overeem werdum jds and cain ahead of him that leaves maybe the last spot in the top 10 open for fedor right now but with some of the younger guys still out there who knows if hes still in the 10

I don't know if I would put Dos Santos above him. The main problem Fedor is going to have is size JDS isn't much bigger than him. I still would like to see him drop to 205 and join the UFC.

Fedor is done. He needs to be done.
I have said for quite some time, he wasn't worth the hype for the last 3-4 years. He almost got beat by Arlovski and Brett Rogers in his previous 2 fights before his current 2 fight win streak. Brett Rogers was doing extremely well before the TKO, same goes for Arlovski, only he got caught with a blind overhand right as he got a bit overzealous. Arlovski fought him in 2008, and he wasn't all that impressive then. Not to mention, Hong-Man Choi being really close to beating him also.

It's sad to see great champions go down. None of them ever retire on top. Fedor is the greatest mma heavyweight in my opinion.
