I'm guessing not many people here know Colt Ford, though many might know his song Dirt Road Anthem that was covered by Jason Aldean. My favorite song of his right now is Waste Some Time w Nic Cowan and the Nappy Roots. I'll bet Colt is someone Zwick and I can finally agree on, other than the OR Boys; of course.
(music starts about a minute in after Colt golfing...he used to be a pro golfer I read)

I'm more of a Brantley Gilbert fan though.

Gilbert is a very talented songwriter, I can't believe he isn't more mainstream than what he is as an artist. She's My Kind of Crazy is my favorite song of his. I like some Colt Ford occasionally. It's more of a party music for me, not necessarily something I'll just sit around and listen to.GoChiefs;1013490 wrote:I'm more of a Brantley Gilbert fan though.

Twisted featuring Tim McGraw and Take a Ride Through the Country featuring John Michael Montgomery. Both are pretty decent considering I'm not really a fan of TM or JMM.

Those were the two I thought of when I saw this thread, besides dirt road anthem. He's got some good ones and then some only ok ones on his cd's. Never get to hear him on the radio much though.Steel Valley Football;1013780 wrote:Twisted featuring Tim McGraw and Take a Ride Through the Country featuring John Michael Montgomery. This song is good because of Brantley Gilbert.Steel Valley Football;1013429 wrote:I'm guessing not many people here know Colt Ford, though many might know his song Dirt Road Anthem that was covered by Jason Aldean. ]

I agree with all of this. She's my kind of crazy should be a number one hit.se-alum;1013522 wrote:Gilbert is a very talented songwriter, I can't believe he isn't more mainstream than what he is as an artist. I assumed you'd know him when I posting this thread. It's not my regular kind of music by any means but I like most of it that I've heard.pnhasbeen;1013828 wrote:I've known of Colt Ford and as soon as I heard Dirt Road Anthem I knew Colt Ford had a hand in it.

Though it wouldn't exist without both of them. So that's kind of a dumb observation.rydawg5;1014016 wrote:This song is good because of Brantley Gilbert.

That's actually very cool. I hung out w Ryan Bingham for quite awhile before and after his show in Indy. Justin and I talked to Leroy Powell for a bit when we saw him. We almost had to actually.gerb131;1014031 wrote:My bro and his wife have kicked it with him a couple of times. I have a signed cd from him.

ok? Or I find the rap parts quite annoying, but think the song overall is good because I really like Gilbert's parts.Steel Valley Football;1014237 wrote:Though it wouldn't exist without both of them. So that's kind of a dumb observation.
