He gets his first win this weekend. So does this mean Tiger is back or just had a good weekend.

He's getting closer to where he needs to be. Seems like he's healthy now, and he's finally getting things together mentally.

I expect him to do pretty well next season.

What do you mean by "he's back"?

He's certainly not yet at the level he once was but he's back to winning on the tour.

Two good tournaments in a row, and confidence heading into the offseason. I hope he is.

Tiger won't ever be as dominate as he was before but hes is starting to come around and is playing really well(see the last 2 tournaments). I definitely think he could win 1 or 2 majors next year.

Wait so he isn't going to be as dominant, but could win 1 or 2 majors!!??!? 2 Major years is a pretty dominant thing. I must say I don't expect him to get multiple majors as much as he used to, but you have to think there are two green jackets left in him.

dominate as in meaning no one is really close to him in tournaments/majors :). Guess I should have clarified that better because yeah if he gets 2 majors it would be dominate. I think he will get some wins but he won't be winning them by a lot strokes.

Awesome win and much needed for Tiger. It was a good thing Johnson missed that birdie putt on 17 because Tiger doesn't win if it doesn't lip out.

Actually 3 good tourneys in a row if you count the Presidents Cup.

Agreed, he played a lot better than his 2-3 record at the President's Cup indicates. A lot of the message boards today are filled with "who cares he won a golf exhibition with an 18 man field". Good point other than the fact that it included 11 out of the top 25 players in the world rankings. Although this win does not mean he is back to being the best it definitely has him moving in the right direction, and I for one cannot wait till he is winning on a regular basis again!

Ah, a classic jab at Ohio State. Would you like to compare Ohio State with Clemson? Do you even want to go there? Enjoy!

The OP was asking a question, not stating he was back. And nobody in the thread flatout said he was back to his old form. Hope this helps

"Who wasn’t there, who Woods didn't have to beat, is notable. Europe’s best weren’t there. Luke Donald, Rory McIlroy, Lee Westwood and Martin Kaymer weren’t there. Some of the hottest PGA Tour pros of this past season weren’t there. Adam Scott, Dustin Johnson and Charl Schwartzel weren’t there. Phil Mickelson wasn't there."

1-0 all time that's all I know ;). Nah I have worked for Gordon Gee's office in the past, great dude. My dad has an MBA from ohio state and was once named fisher alumni of the year. I have nothing but respect for Ohio State.

I expect Woods to contend at Augusta until he hangs them up. Heck he has two top 5s the last two years and he has been awful in both years.

Everybody knows that in golf, the "best" can be the "worst" at any given time. Big difference in beating 17 or 80 other golfers. People come from nowhere to win all the time. It's virtually impossible to ever say these are the 17 best golfers at any one time. Two majors would be quite a feat, considering all the talent that is on tour right now.
