And I don't like what they did as players and what resulted, but that's not the point, the point is Bollman shouldn't have been running Hyde or Hall given the production out of Herron.

Herron also was honored by his teammates. Obviously the players still have no idea about the gravity of the program's actions

That bowl ban would be the Athletic Department's fault, Failure to Monitor is on the dept, not on the players.

And you thnk it was sufficient enough for what OSU and the rest of the program has to suffer for next year and beyond? I don't. For Fickell to start them right when they came back, was bad enough. Sent a terrible message to the rest of the team. Anyway, thats all said and done and the results of their transgressions were a 6-7 season.

Just like Herron shouldn't have been getting more burn once he returned during the season. Others were more productive with the ball in their hands and didn't repeatedly break NCAA rules

I believe their punishments were sufficient. They were not the ones who lied to the NCAA or couldn't monitor their program.

Bullshit. Its impossible to follow 100 players around 24/7. These guys were seniors to be. OSU got hammered last year, and they still went this past summer and took money for no work. Stop with the excuses. You cannot monitor players. The AD made mistakes. But the players ultimately made the decisions.

Punishments you can have your opinion on. To put the blame on OSU is ridiculous. Excuses. Especially after them taking money for nothing while the NCAA was sniffing around!

Uh, you have to monitor the player's jobs and income, especially when they work for a booster. Don't give me that lame ass "it's the compliance dept's job to monitor these kids and their interactions with boosters, but they can't monitor all these kids!!!"

Without their actions, nobody was put in that position in the first place.

LOL

You are the one who is putting blame for the compliance dept's fuck up and Tressel's fuck up on Boom and Posey. They served their punishment and if the school had done their job, nothing else would have come of it. Plain and simple.

Ding ding ding! Well put.

They threw gas on the fire and laughed about it. Meanwhile Luke and the team saluted them. Unreal.

U must be young. Pointing the finger at others when the ultimate responsibility lies within the individuals who CHOSE to do what they did. Period.

So you are the one pointing the finger at the players for Tressel's and the compliance department's actions. Good job for being a hypocrite.

They served their 'punishment' and will be moving on to greener pastures. The underclassmen, university, fans, and conference are not so lucky
