Not all of us over here in Bobcat Land agree with Paul's post!!!!!!....We are smart enough to understand that winning back to back State Titles is hard for any team.....We know we have a bullseye on are back. You cant lose a Adam Wallace, Jon Maibach, John Wilson, L. Wolfe and a Tyler Zimmerly and not miss a beat...we have big holes to fill...But we also know that we have the talent to fill those holes..Will we win the WCAL???...who knows...will we win another State Title???? who knows......but I will tell you this...these boys and coaches think they can and that is half the battle.. Only time will tell. They will stap up the helments everyday and go to work!....Good luck to all the WCAL teams this year it looks like it will be another good year for WCAL Football!!!!!!!....GO BOBCATS!!!!!

I honestly don't believe any of us regulars on this thread have come to the conclusion that Paul's opinion is the opinion of most Bobcat fans. He does, however, do a fun job of stirring the pot. His poor grammar, even worse spelling and an occaisonal feeble attempt at humor, keep me wanting to see his every post. But, I know the comical value in his writings and don't accept them as the Gospel.

In reading Pitman's interview with Harbour, one thing he has brought to the program is an expectation of winning every game. I like that. They believe they can beat everyone and that goes a long way in game prep. and gamesmanship. I like the direction he is taking the program. If success breeds success, we can't look past Norwayne at the WCAL level this season (or in any season in the near future).

It was a fun ride last season, but keep in mind defending the crown is often times more difficult than acquiring the crown.

what I enjoy most about Paul's comedy is that I don't think he's trying to be funny most of the time.

Very true.

We should do a day in the life type of documentary on Paul.

*capitalisation or *capitalization

so does spelling

On a serious note, it sounds like Pitman is gonna pass on the pick'em pool. So I guess I'm gonna do it.
Does anybody have the 2012 schedules for Sports Time Ohio & WMFD. I can't seem to locate anything.

I'm thinking the WCAL plus Orrville, Wooster & Triway and once league play starts throw in some games from STO & WMFD. Possibly even a few big rivalry games. The main goal is to have 8-12 games every week. Thoughts?

Glad you understand my ironic sense of humor.

Yeah I am in for the pick 'em. Someone has to play the role of Chippewa in this thing.

The irony (accidental or planned) on this thread & site is definitely not lost on me.

Speaking of Chippewa......and Rittman,

For the purposes of eliminating no brainer picks, I may (after a few weeks) start handicapping a game or two.

EXAMPLE: Chippewa+50 at Norwayne.

if you take Chippewa and Norwayne wins 55-8......you win.
if you take Chippewa and Norwayne wins 63-12....you lose.

if you take Chippewa and they lose by exactly 50....you lose. A push is a loss.

does this sound interesting or will it be too much for some of our simpler friends? (Bloody, etc,)

I am going to agree with RR.....but for me, Defense has been good to stellar according when you watch except in deep secondary. DBs are small and inexperienced, FS and SS seem to be trying to create a ESPN highlight with a pic instead of going after the player.
I am more worried about the OLB turned MLB than the DB'S.

Miyagi is about that old...but I don't know if he will be attending 15 Bobcat games...He may be more interested in 15 Northwestern games.

At 91 buying season tickets seems risky. And since Weeks 11-15 is up in the air, your request may be invalid.

I can see that too.....good thing is, we will find out soon and have something to talk about... :)

BTW...their MLB is the same as last year.

The biggest thing about this team is their record from last year hanging over their heads. 2 ways you come away from that, "we suck and I cant wait for the year to get over" or "We will not let that happen again". So far in 2 a days, it seems the latter is what is on deck at the moment with plenty of enthusiasm and focus.

For us fans, there are many question marks with this team and we can speculate all we want, but it will be answered in a few short weeks.

I'll call Coach Z and arrange it. We can meet by the fence and go from there.
