Group A is an absolute joke, and Group B is as nasty a Group of death I can ever recall.

The fuck, Group A? And yes, Group B is intense​. Two of those teams (Netherlands, Germany) are what I would consider top-5 in the world, and of course Portugal and Denmark are no slouches either.

Seriously. When Russia was announced, all 4 of those countries in Group A erupted in applause. I think all 4 expected to be bounced and now all 4 see a chance to advance. Maybe Poland saw a chance, since they were automatically in Pot A, but still.

Another sleeper group is Group D. England is talking as if its won, and I think they are the favorites. But France is France and can get it together in the next 6 months easily. They are starting to play better, especially individually at the respective clubs. Sweeden has Zlatan Ibra and a solid club. They can throw a wrench into things, as can Ukriane with the homefield advantage.

Jesus Christ group B.

Group C is no slouch group either. Italy beat Spain this past summer, and Ireland is a better tough team. WTF is up with Group A? SMH. Sorry, but host teams should not get automatic seeds. UEFA is paving a road for Ukraine and Poland to succeed as hosts.

Group A sucks and my Germans got railed with Group B. Oh well thats tournament soccer. Still think they advance, Portugal hasn't impressed lately.

Germany should still get through, but I liked all 3 of those teams, and had Denmark as a sleeper (if they had gotten like a Group A/C draw). They got no shot now. Portugal is the weak link behind the Germans and Dutch, but Cristiano is still Cristiano and Nani is playing really well. In fact, a lot of the Portuguese players are playing extremely well for their clubs right now.
