Ok my girl works for a major pharmacy store. She is a shift supervisor and when she works night she closes the store at midnight. We live about a mile from work so most days I take her and pick her up. I go up and pick her up last night and as they are closing there are 4 total employees left. Her, a cashier, a pharmicist, and a pharmicist assistant. As she shuts down the store and locks up they all come out side. There is one car left in the parking lot and it catches their eye. The questions start, was there a customer in the store nobody noticed? Well they already locked up and set the alarm so they can't go back in. So they hang for about 5-10 minutes and discuss and look through the windows and door, nothing. Now the lights in the store have shut off and the alarm inside sounds when set. You would think if a customer was in the store they would head to the front when the lights go out, well nothing. So we go home. About 20 minutes later my girls phone rings and its the store GM. He said he got a call from the alarm company, can she run back to the store and check it out. We head back and sure enough 2 cop cars in the parking lot and 2 cops standing at the door. Inside stands a little lady. Things got calmed down but my girl was freaking out. In the end I think everyone had a good laugh, I know the cops did they were laughing and her boss wasn't mad. It was an honest mistake and I think as she was checking the store they crossed in the ailes and missed her, but man was it funny when we pulled up to the store!

I could see how that could happen. I bet the lady inside the store was freakin out! lol

The lady was freaking at first but she calmed down. She will probably sue though, LOL!!

What idiot stays in the store when it is closing? I just don't see how you can not realize it's closing. But you did say it was a woman inside right? Now I understand.

people always push the closing limit, we close at 9 and people think it's funny to roll in at 859 and just hang out

Same thing happened many years ago at the Pharmacy where I work. It was prior to me starting there, but I heard the stories.
